Failed Drain
Previous homeowner special
Here is a failed shower that failed at the drain causing water to get through and start leaking out from the ceiling drywall in the downstairs. I was called to come fix the issue after the first contractor, the cheaper option, started to try and fix the problem but ended up telling the homeowners that he was in over his head and really had no idea what to do to fix the problem. Once again, I knew exactly how to fix the issue and keep the shower waterproofed and durable to last a lifetime. As it turns out, the drain was now an actual drain, the previous homeowner s son in law had told me that he was a real diy kind of guy and he constructed the linear drain out of a 2" drain pipe cut in half. This may have saved him 100 bucks, and ended up costing much more after the failure was discovered. Pan got fixed with a single slope traditional style alternate receptor (mudpan) with an actual drain bonded into the slope and a tileable grate
